Welcome to Our Spectrum of Strengths
A behind-the-scenes look at our neurodivergent-affirming classroom. This blog is a space to share the heart and work that goes into creating an environment where every student is respected, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Whether you’re a fellow educator looking for ideas or a family member wanting to stay connected to the classroom experience, you’ll find insight, resources, and real talk about what it means to teach and learn in a space that honors all kinds of minds. I’m glad you’re here!

Our Spectrum of Strengths is a window into our neurodiversity-affirming high school classroom. Here, students with a wide range of support needs learn in ways that make sense to them—and show what they know in the ways that work best.

You’ll see the many forms communication takes, how lessons are adapted for access, and the beautiful, valid ways our students express their learning.

This blog celebrates progress over perfection, voice over volume, and inclusion that’s designed—not just declared.

Welcome!
